Ovarian cysts are common cause of surgical procedures and hospitalizations among women worldwide. Most of the womens suffer from an ovarian cyst once in their reproductive life. In Ayurveda ovarian cyst can be correlated with Granthi for which Ayurveda describes the detailed treatment.
Here is the case study of 30 years old female K/C/O Insulin dependent DM, suffered from an ovarian cyst (hemorrhagic cyst) ,who was treated for four month of duration with ayurvedic medicines viz. Kanchanar guggul and Arbud har vati ,which gives significant result in the management of an ovarian cyst.
The present case study revealed the granthihar properties of Kanchanar guggul and Arbud har vati.
