Abstract

Raktapradar is a major illness in females in our society in India due to population and poverty.Maximum patients are suffering from this disease. Female above 35 yrs. are commonly suffering from Raktapradar. I select this topic because drug and patients are easily available and easy to diagnose clinically.

METHODS: - Randomly selected patient of Raktapradar are divided into two groups

  • Group A -Babbul Phal churn 3 gm BD with water for 3 months.
  • Group B –Babbul Niryas churn 3gm BD with water for 3 months.

 OBSERVATION AND DISCUSSION:-    

In group A- 85% patients got relief and in group B-90% patients got relief.

RESULT AND CONCLUSION:-

  • Both babul phal and niryas are effective in
  • Patient of chronic duration got better results with Babbul niryas where as Babbul Phal is effective in newly diagnose patient. Babbul Niryas is balya,dhatuwardhak,&stambhak that’s why it is having good results when compared with Babbul phal.
  • Since long ago traditionally after delivery LADDU containing Babbul Niryas are given routinely.
